User Charges: the Viewpoints of Stakeholders about User Charges in the Turkish Health System

$14,00

User charges are used to reduce increased health expenditures, to generate additional revenue, and to curb unnecessary use of health care services.

This study aims to investigate expectations and experiences of stakeholders (consumers, health service providers, and policymakers) about user charges and acceptability of these charges in the Turkish health system. This study is the first of its kind in Turkey to investigate the subject of user charges based on stakeholders’ opinions, albeit through limited size of sampling.

We believe that our book fills an important gap in discussion of user charges using health systems, and hope that you enjoy it.
